Entrance Exam.jpg

admission TEST

Students applying to Olive High will be required to sit a test, a Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT4) to establish their current level and to help us in determining  baselines for pupils. The test will assess the student's ability to reason with and manipulate different types of material through a series of verbal, non-verbal, quantitative and spatial ability tasks. The test also helps the school pinpoint gifted and talented students.

The test is a written multiple choice test (non-verbal) and pupils are required to bring in  basic stationary (HB pencil, a rubber and sharpener). The school will write to you within 8 weeks of taking the exam notifying you of the outcome.

Upon completion a place will be offered and you will have the option to accept the offer. If you accept the offer, you must complete and return the acceptance pack to the school along with a deposit of £500 (non-refundable) within one week. Upon receipt, a welcome pack will then be sent out to you with all the essential and relevant information.
